Call to Worship (prayer by Tanner Olson)
One: Creator God, May it be with grace,
All: may it be with peace,
One: May it be with hope,
All: may it be with love,
One: May it be with mercy,
All: And may you be our strength as we begin another week.
Hymn: “For the Beauty of the Earth”
1 For the beauty of the earth,
for the glory of the skies,
for the love which from our birth
over and around us lies.
Christ, our Lord, to you we raise
this, our hymn of grateful praise.
2 For the wonder of each hour
of the day and of the night,
hill and vale and tree and flower,
sun and moon and stars of light, [Refrain ]
3 For the joy of human love,
brother, sister, parent, child,
friends on earth, and friends above,
for all gentle thoughts and mild, [Refrain]
4 For yourself, best gift divine,
to the world so freely given,
agent of God’s grand design:
peace on earth and joy in heaven. [Refrain]
Creator God, you have given us a beautiful place to live, with plentiful space and resources for all of us. Help us to remember that your love is not limited; Guide us as you call us to take care of each other; and grant us your grace in moments where we need you most.
All knowing God, search our hearts and find where we need you most. There is conflict inside and outside of each of us; we come before you baring our hearts in search of your guiding presence.
Assurance of Pardon (based on Micah 6:8) (unison)
Loving God, you have shown us through your son Jesus Christ what you desire of us; and so we shall act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with you.
Response of Praise:“Glory to His Name” Refrain Only

An Invitation to Give
Prayer of Dedication (unison):
Giver of all-we praise you: for giving us more than we need; and for stirring our hearts to share with each other. Please accept this offering of care and love, multiply it, and use it to bless those in need of blessing. In your name we pray, Amen.
“Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise God, all creatures here below; Praise God above, ye heavenly host; Creator, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen.”
