Resonant Frequencies is an immersive performance that intersects dance and music with science and interactive technology. The dancer’s biometric data is collected by DIY heart monitors, transmitted live to a server, and transformed into visual and sonic output. Through sensing and resonating with the vibration of the heart, body, and space, dancers calibrate and negotiate their kinetic energy with one another and the audience.
