Call to Worship
One: This is the day that the Lord has made!
All: Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
One: Let our hearts be full of praises for all God has done!
All: Let us rejoice and be glad!
One: May our lips sing the praises that God longs to hear!
All: Let us rejoice!
One: Come let us worship-
All: We will rejoice and be glad!

Hymn: “How Can I Keep From Singing”
1 My life flows on in endless song;
above earth’s lamentation,
I catch the sweet, though far off hymn
that hails a new creation.
Refrain:
No storm can shake my inmost calm
while to that Rock I’m clinging.
Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,
how can I keep from singing?
2 Through all the tumult and the strife,
I hear that music ringing.
It finds an echo in my soul.
How can I keep from singing? [Refrain]
3 What though my joys and comforts die?
I know my Savior liveth.
What though the darkness gather round?
Songs in the night he giveth. [Refrain]
4 The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart,
a fountain ever springing!
All things are mine since I am his!
How can I keep from singing? [Refrain]

Invocation
Healing One, you call us forth to care for creation and each other-yet we do not do so without you. As you’ve instructed us, continue to guide us. Make clear paths before our feet, and shine your light before our hearts. For nothing done without you is worth doing. Amen.

Confession
Holy One, we will ever search you out. We look for you in the business of our lives. We search for you in the still quiet. We reach out to you, ever externally, ever longing-as if you are not dwelling in our hearts already.

Assurance of Pardon
Loving God, your son assures us that your Spirit has moved on this earth long before we did; and continues moving on this earth and in our hearts even now. We are never without you. Thank you for being ever present. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
